Having come from a rich background in drawing and multi-media, much of my work in recent years has been inspired by journeys, language and conversations. I have created drawings on my mobile phone, collected tokens of and from visits, made sound recordings, created installations, video and animation. I’ve distorted communicative systems rendering them meaningless except in concept. This can take the form of exposing code which defines a digital image or perhaps playing with contextual layering, decoding and recoding the work.

I’m not always sure where the work will take me but it always begins with listening and drawing.

I graduated with a BA Hons, First Class in Fine Art from Greenwich University in 2010, having previously studied at the Kent Institute of Art and Design at Canterbury.
